Rocket League’s Winter Games event gets a date and some key details.
Appearing on December 14, will be the hockey mutator which we informed you about here, this has now been officially renamed “Snow Day”, and will replace the “Mutator Mashup” online playlist. In this new mode, Rocket League fans can expect a fresh twist to the classic, football-inspired game of Rocket League. But sometimes I just want to load it up and have a few games, and I’m sure Winter Games is definitely going to help with that even more.
The Chaos Run DLC will also be added to Rocket League on December 1 for $3.99.
Some of these winter items to find in Rocket League are Xmas Rocket Trail, Santa Topper, Blitzen Topper, Holiday Gift Antenna, Sad Sapling Topper, Christmas Tree Topper and Candy Cane Antenna. At least with the square one you can get some height on it.

Players have a chance to obtain the Winter Games items following the completion of any match regardless of whether they win or lose, however, the odds of getting them are lower than for standard items. These are all yours once you’ve got them, but come January 4, they’ll no longer be available.
