Adele announces 2016 European tour

Note: Fear not, Adele fans, it’s inconceivable that she won’t be coming to tour in the U.S.at some point very soon, and when there’s an announcement to be made about that, it will undoubtedly be as much fun as this one.

She’s just announced four dates at The O2 in March 2016, as part of a sweep across the United Kingdom and Europe, off the back of new album “25”, which smashed various sales records since its release last week.

“I can’t wait to see all of you there”.

Adele broke the single-week US album sales record in just four days with “25”, Nielsen Music said on Tuesday, with sales at 2,430,000 since its release on Friday.

Adele has been keeping tight-lipped about the shows by saying in interviews she has a “fear” of performing in front of large crowds.

Taking to social media, the songstress posted a video packed with outtakes revealing all the various venues she will visit – but, of course, being Adele it wasn’t any old video.

The 2011 release sold 208,000 copies in its first week, and only passed 500,000 sales in its fourth week on sale.

She previously claimed to feel that the idea of a tour was quite lonely, but did tease that live dates could be in the near future.
