Adele’s 25 Smashes Single Week US Album Sales Record

Adele’s previous albums 19 and 21, as well as her current single Hello, are still available for streaming although she initially withheld her album 21 because the service refused to limit the songs to paying subscribers.

According to the Nielsen Music ratings, Adele’s gamble seems to have paid off as she has broken the single-week USA album sales record – and she still has a couple days to go before the full sales week is up since the album released last Friday.

The album “25” is the follow up to her 2011 breakout album “21” which won multiple Grammys including Album of the Year and had sales of more than 11 million.

The US-based non-interactive streaming service was waiting to tell the world that is does have 25, just in time for Thanksgiving weekend.

Aside from the fact that Adele is pretty much a universally loved global treasure, the songstress has been busy promoting her new album on a non-stop, headline-generating media blitz – and we’re loving every second! He even described the popularity of Adele’s “25” as “unprecedented” and shared that the store has stocked a special edition of the “Hello” crooner’s new album.

Presently, industry forecasters suggest the album could finish the week with 2.9 million sold. Just three days after its official release, Adele’s eagerly anticipated third album, 25, is on track to be the fastest-selling album of all time.

It was a totally impressive feat, and yet, it was no match for Adele and her sultry pipes.

“Being in such an unbelievable relationship with someone that’s so there for me and so loyal and is really part of my core now”, Adele said. It might be Adele’s strategy in order to get the exact figures for her expected sales.
