Ford missed an earlier Star Wars event that came too soon after his flight mishap, but he certainly looked pleased to stand in solidarity with his cast and fans, despite what looked like an awfully painful limp.

San Diego Comic-Con 2015 is in full swing, and what better to showcase at the yearly throng of nerd-dom than a new Star Wars movie trailer.
The fans reacted to their favorite tunes by raising thousands of colorful toy light sabers into the air.
In the first instance (1.33), the Shaun of the Dead star and lifelong Star Wars fan is seen on set in civilian clothes.
Saluting the crowds who gave him a standing ovation, Harrison, being the pro he is, joked with the crowd: ‘I’m fine, I walked here.’. “I thought, “They were right about the acid flashbacks””.
Ford said it felt great to be back as Han Solo. I didn’t think that it was going to happen again.
Prior to Ford’s much-lauded appearance, director Abrams showed a nearly four-minute behind-the-scenes reel, which offered glimpses of the Force Awakens sets and costumes, as well as snippets of interviews with the cast.
“Everything’s changed but nothing’s changed”, said Hamill in the clip.
This is due in part to the fact that the series is finally returning to the people and places that made it so great in the beginning, which means the original trio of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford are back. The antiheroes include Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux) and Gwendoline Christie (yes, Brienne of Tarth from HBO’s “Game of Thrones” as Captain Phasma).
“I was very, very grateful of the opportunity I had in that film”, he said.

Abrams, who promised a new “Force Awakens” trailer this fall, said one of the most important tasks for him was to not let fandom get in the way of making the Disney and Lucasfilm sequel.
