Posting a link to her website in the caption, Adele’s upcoming tour locations are Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, London, Glasgow, and Birmingham, with tickets going on sale next week.
The shows will be in Britain, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, France and Belgium. It said subscribers to her website would be sent instructions on Sunday on how to order tickets and would be allowed to purchase up to four tickets each.
The singer, who released her latest album 25 on Friday, recently set a new record for the most number of LPs sold in a United Kingdom chart week, beating record-holders Oasis. In Britain, it sold 737,000 copies in its first week.
In a video clip posted earlier today (26 November) Adele revealed details of her surprise tour, telling fans: “I’ve been bluffing this whole time and I’m so relieved that I can finally tell you that I am of course going on tour, and I can’t wait to see you all there”.
Being the first living artist to achieve the feat of having two top 5 hits in both the UK Official Singles Chart and the Official Albums Chart simultaneously since the Beatles in 1964.
It can be heard via U.S.-based online radio company Pandora Music Inc., which announced this week that it was playing all the songs on 25.
But there’s still hope for streaming. “I’m certainly not one for spicing things up”.
