Twitch introduces Live Screen Streaming app with Sony to broadcast mobile

Once MXTP is enabled on the device the option changes to “No”, which means that the bootloader cannot be unlocked once My Xperia Theft Protection has been enabled. MXTP offers bootloader level security to your device, which makes it unusual in a way. This way, even if your device ends up in the wrong hands, they wouldn’t be able to wipe it clean or flash a different ROM as long as they don’t have your Google account credentials. For now, there are no custom ROMs available for the devices.

The out of the box feature has already been provided by Sony for its newer devices that asks if you want the bootloader locked or unlocked – a status line will say “Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes”.

You can also use it to stream any other apps or activity from your device’s screen. This is said to happen due to MXTP’s efforts to prevent the bootloader-unlocking on an Xperia handset that already has an unlocked bootloader. Sony failed to issue a warning in this regard when it launched MXTP, but the company is nonetheless aware of the risks. The company could be waiting to fix the MXTP issue first. The site adds, “In addition, if you have enabled My Xperia, this function must be turned off before you can unlock your device”.
