Apple won’t ever make a Surface Book-style Mac and iPad hybrid

The carrier will also offer accessories like the Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard for $99 and $169 respectively. So we want to make the best tablet in the world and the best Mac in the world.

Some analysts believe the iPad Pro will do well in the enterprise market and help boost sagging iPad sales. That man just happens to be Apple CEO Tim Cook.

On Wednesday, Apple CEO Tim Cook took a shot at Microsoft, calling its Surface Book laptop “deluded”, according to Irish Independent’s Adrian Weckler.

But we’ll leave those comments behind, because Cook chose to set his targets on the current darling of the PC community – the Microsoft Surface Book.

The iPad Pro is seen by many as Apple’s entrance into the “hybrid” computer market, where a device can function like a laptop with a physical keyboard, but also has a touchscreen. Today, Logitech is showing off its brand new keyboard case for the iPad Pro, called Create. Do you think Apple will bring support for the three-pin connector and Pencil to other iPad models?

In a post by Mac Rumors, Apple already began accepting orders for the new iPad pro, strategically revealing “A Great Big Universe” 2 days prior.

If anything, the iPad Pro is as good as a PC, making it a far better option, thanks to its portability. It boasts more power than nearly anything else on sale – including Apple’s MacBook Pro, something Microsoft is keen to boast off – but its display can also be detached from the keyboard base to form a standalone “clipboard”.

It looks like snagging a 128-GB version of the iPad Pro won’t be easy and quick. Indeed, the success of Microsoft’s own Surface line suggests that it can be a winning formula when given due care.

The iPad Pro will go on sale later this week
