WikiLeaks says NSA spied on French business
The documents show that the National Security Agency (NSA) of the United States of America applied a policy of permanent economic espionage against France.

According to the WikiLeaks report, “NSA has been tasked with obtaining intelligence on all aspects of the French economy, from government policy, diplomacy, banking and participation in worldwide bodies to infrastructural development, business practices and trade activities”.
Documents released Monday by anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks assert that the National Security Agency (NSA) regularly intercepted all French corporate contracts valued above $200 million.
Pierre Moscovici, the former minister of the economy under French President Francois Hollande and Francois Baroin, the former economy minister under ex-president Nicholas Sarkozy and now the minister for budget, were both targeted by the NSA, French media reported on Monday, citing WikiLeaks documents.
The new charges come just a week after it was revealed the NSA had spied on three successive French presidents from 2006 to 2012, sparking a diplomatic row between Paris and Washington.
Another leaked doc confirmed a abstract of a telephone name between Moscovici, who now serves as Economics Commissioner for the European Union, and a Socialist senator, during which they mentioned the poor state of the French financial system and ongoing finances negotiations. “Unacceptable between allies and friends”, he tweeted. NSA spokesperson Ned Price said: “We are not going to comment on specific intelligence allegations”.
Another order, apparently from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, also instructs the spy agency to share the information it collects with other agencies, such as the Commerce and Treasury Departments and the U.S. Trade Representative.

Some D.R. and European safety sources have expressed concern that the newest delicate paperwork might have been provided to Wikileaks by a beforehand unknown supply, and never by ex- NSA contractor Edward Snowden. The material couldn’t be immediately verified, but WikiLeaks has a record of releasing US government documents.
