Klein reiterated to the jury Medina even had time to take a picture of her body after emptying all eight bullets from his.
Derek Medina killed his wife and posted a photo of her blood-spattered body on Facebook.
Prosecutors argued he killed her after an argument in which she threatened to leave him. “I’m sorry”, Carolyn Knox said.
The 33-year-old former amateur boxer, who claimed he acted in self-defence, admitted to the August 2013 killing in posts on Facebook.
This is also the line of defense that his attorney, Saam Zangeneh, insisted on during the court trial.
Medina will be sentenced on January 11, 2016.
He did not encourage the court that he had shot at Alfonso eight situations in self-defence after years of mistreatment.
The couple’s young daughter was still in the house, police have said.
Medina’s lawyer claimed his wife high on a drug nicknamed “bath salts”.
In his note, Medina accused his wife of abusing him and asked his friends for their understanding for what he did to her because of it. “Take care. Facebook people you’ll see me in the news”.
Medina then drove to see his family and later turned himself to police, according to his arrest affidavit.
The persecutor also referred to the medical examiner’s report during the trial, which suggested that the Facebook killer shot Alfonso at a downward angle at point-blank range.

Dunn told jurors that his social media posting crushes his self-defense theory: “It’s hard to tell the entire world you’re going to prison and walk that back”.
