Qiku launches Q Terra 808 in India for Rs 19999

Speaking about the pretty looking handset, the most unbelievable thing about Q Terra is its 13MP DUAL camera lens on the rear side with dual tone LED flash along with 0.1 second Fast Focus feature.

QiKU, a joint venture between Chinese Internet company Qihoo 360 and handset maker Coolpad, has launched its first smartphone in India, the QiKU Q Terra.

QiKU has gone for an interesting price scheme with its new phone. It will be available for purchase using a Q-Invite from December 5th exclusively from Gadgets360 online. Invites for the phone will be available on the QiKU website, QiKU forum, and the Gadget 360 website.

Both Qiku Q Terra models come with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and have screen-to-body ratio of 83%; the bezels around the screen measure just 1.7mm, the company says.

On the front, the phone has a set of sensors, capacitive buttons and an 8-megapixel camera with big 1.4um pixels. The smartphones run on the company’s proprietary Android-based 360 OS. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor paired with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The smartphone is backed by a 3,700mAh battey. Also on offer is 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card.

Chinese smartphone brand Qiku on Friday launched the Q Terra 808 smartphone in India for Rs 19 999. The other one is what Qiku calls a black and white camera.

In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB port with USB OTG support. It also features an 8MP front shooter. QiKU claims that it is fast enough to unlock the device in only half a second, and can also be used to answer calls and take photos.

The Magnalium alloy unibody is made from high-strength aerospace aluminium alloy. This device has dimensions of 157.6×79.8×8.6mm and its weight is 185 grams, which is quite bulky. If you have a good device and are ready with service networks then the prospective buyers should get it on the spot should they decide to buy it. There is no fun in imitating the highly criticised method of selling of OnePlus and that too when you are new to India and does not have brand equity.
