Mauricio Pochettino happy Chelsea want Harry Kane
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has been quick to pour cold waters on reports suggesting Chelsea want star striker Harry Kane.

“I am happy that a big club want our players – this is because they show they are a top player with top performances”.
Despite Spurs being in the midst of a very busy period, online bookmakers NetBet think they will win tonight and progress to the knockout stages of the Europa League.
They beat West Ham 4-1 at White Hart Lane last Sunday and will be hoping for a similar result against their London rivals this weekend, though they did have to travel to Azerbaijan to face Qarabag on Thursday and could be exhausted after that 1-0 win. “For us, it’s better to go straight after the game and get to England as soon as possible and maybe give Friday off for recovery”.
Kane’s victor came about after Dele Alli and Son Heung-min had struck the post in the second half, the latter flicking on Christian Eriksen’s corner for the England worldwide to finish 12 minutes from time.
Next it was Alli’s turn to see an effort hit the woodwork before Sehic was there again to deny Kane on the rebound.
And Neville admits that Tottenham’s players, both English and foreign, have flourished so much under Pochettino that he now counts Spurs as one of his favourite teams to watch.
“We need to think, too, that a hard summer is coming with the European Championships and to manage in a good way, assess after every game to keep them fit and avoid injuries too”. With Sunday’s London derby against Chelsea in mind, it could give Andros Townsend a return from obscurity while Clinton N’Jie could be handed a rare start.
“The objective is gone now”. This has promoted Mauricio Pochettino to say that Harry Kane’s future is with Tottenham.
In what is a very busy and important period for Tottenham, Pochettino has stressed the importance of ensuring his players remain in good condition. It is true that always we want more, but we need to move step by step.

“Everyone’s saying ‘well, they’re out of it, there’s no way they can make the top four, ‘ but when I was at Leeds we were 15th at Christmas and finished fourth so it’s possible”.
