Will Les Miles coach his final game for LSU on Saturday?

Thus far, Miles is 110-32 at LSU, and will finish with a winning percentage above.750, which stands at. Miles’ job status has been in question for more than a week, and speculation has intensified now that LSU is suffering the program’s first three-game losing streak since 1999.

We’ve gone from impossible to possible to inevitable when discussing the fate of LSU Tigers head coach Les Miles in about 10 days.

At a press conference later that day, however, Miles insisted he was still employed. I’m going to work hard. “I’m not going to comment on any job in any way, shape or form”.

Either Running backs coach Frank Wilson or defensive line coach Ed Orgeron is expected to become LSU’s interim head coach for its respective bowl game. I’ve always felt that way. You just can’t match his passion for the game and love for his players. I want to finish strong in Tiger Stadium.

Fisher was the LSU offensive coordinator from 2000-2006, serving under former Tiger coach Nick Saban before Miles took over in 2005. TCU’s Gary Patterson and Clemson’s Dabo Swinney are also reportedly on the boosters’ wish list if Miles is fired. There are only so many of them out there and there are only a handful of really good ones – Miles is one of those select few.

Firing Les Miles may bring some separate issues.

But college football is a business. It’s the mini National Football League and sometimes people have to make the right decisions for themselves and sometimes as players we’ve got to understand that. LSU started the 2015 season 7-0 and were at one point ranked No. 2 in the country but have stumbled recently and lost three consecutive games.

A source at the meeting told ESPN.com’s David Ching that Miles spoke for about 15 minutes, and, like usual, he received a standing ovation when he entered and exited the meeting.

“When people come to school here, they realize there’s a huge possibility of leaving early”, said Dupre, a sophomore who could leave after his junior season for the NFL.

We haven’t paid that much attention to Joe Alleva’s time at LSU since he left Duke, but the Tiger’s A.D.is squarely in the spotlight now.
