German police has arrested on suspicion to link with recent Paris attacks an arms dealer from Germany’s southern city of Stuttgart on Tuesday.

The prosecutor’s office would not confirm, however, a Bild newspaper report that he is also suspected of selling four AK-47 type assault rifles at the beginning of November that might have been used in the Paris attacks.
German police commando units arrested two men, aged 28 and 46, on Thursday suspected of planning an attack and searched a cultural centre, a police spokesman said.
Bild reported that the suspect is accused of selling the weapons on Darknet, which is a network used for black market trade activities. With the use of special investigation means authorities learned that the machine guns were purchased by an Arab man from Paris.
Bild newspaper said on Friday that a weapons handler near Stuttgart identified only as Sascha W is under arrest and this has been confirmed by prosecutors.
On November 13, a series of terrorist attacks were staged across the French capital, leading to the death of at least 130 people and injuring over 350 others.
Four emails on his smartphone are said to prove that the man sold the weapons to “an Arab in Paris”.

“He is believed to have built the parts for this himself”, the spokesperson said, adding that only pistols had been found.
