They don’t mean much, but a few fun trends heading into the game…
It’s hard to imagine a repeat of that type of game, with the Packers offense in a slump and the Vikings ranking second in the league in scoring defense. That’s Minnesota’s lone remaining division game aside from those vs. Green Bay, as the Vikings have already beaten the Lions twice and the Bears once.
On Oct. 4, Lacy ran for 90 yards on 18 carries in Green Bay’s 17-3 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. At one point, nine-consecutive drives ended with a punt.
The Packers haven’t won in more than a month.
Who to Watch: When it’s clicking, it’s handsome. You may find some guides that are published by third party sites, like the one that feeds our program schedule on FOX17online, didn’t get the update, but we will be showing the Redskins and Panthers at 1:00pm. The Packers offense has hit a wall.
Receiver Jared Abbrederis (ribs), right tackle Bryan Bulaga (knee) and right guard T.J. Lang (shoulder) all missed practice completely but there was some good news for Packers fans, with running back Eddie Lacy (groin) and receiver Ty Montgomery (ankle) both able to take part in a full session. Randall Cobb is proving not to be a true No. 1 receiver, while Rodgers and 22-year-old wideout Davante Adams are still not on the same page. Running back? Not even a question.
“Tuesday, I had my normal routine”, he said in a subdued voice, “came in here, worked out, acupuncture, massage, film, relax, dinner, sleep, wake up, here I am”. Tight end? Richard Rodgers is having a nice season, but Kyle Rudolph is a Pro Bowler.
“[Dre] Kirkpatrick was like that for a couple of years”, Zimmer said. When you have Rodgers, you certainly have a shot.
-DB Micah Hyde (hip) of the Packers was upgraded to probable for Sunday’s NFC North showdown against the Vikings.
While traditional narrative would suggest that the Packers are going to get it together and pick up a big win, I think that the Vikings are one of the two best teams in the NFC.
Back then, the Packers and Vikings met again in Week 16, on Christmas Eve, with the NFC North title on the line at the Metrodome.
A loss to the Detroit Lions coupled with a Vikings win over Oakland dropped the Green Bay Packers to second place in the North. What has gone wrong for the Pack? A road game for Green Bay.

While the Packers have struggled, the Vikings have gotten hot, winning their last five games. On the other hand, the Vikings look poised to take the division by storm with a rejuvenated Adrian Peterson and an impressive defense.
