Klopp tells Sturridge to deal with pain after latest injury
But despite that setback, Sturridge’s injury has opened the door for young attacker Cameron Brannagan, who Klopp has brought into the side for extra cover (via Express).

He has suffered seven different injuries since the start of last season and has only featured for the Reds three times this season.
Klopp believes Sturridge must “adapt” to a new, more intense way of training.
“We have to accept the situation, he’s often been injured in the last few months, maybe year”, said Klopp.
Despite being passed fit earlier this week to rejoin the Liverpool first team, Sturridge apparently discovered a foot pain yesterday which ruled him out of the game shortly before kick off.
‘When Daniel comes back usually after this long break you would train five weeks in a row and play only in friendly games. That would be the best, but of course we know the world is not ideal so we have to try the best and the quickest. But the Liverpool FC captain is now nearly on full fitness, and it is not long before we see him running up and down the pitch again.
“But I’m very happy to be qualified, the team is very happy to be qualified, the club is very happy to be qualified, so you can be happy to be qualified if you want”.
I do fear for the Englishman’s career ever so more at Liverpool. “But there is no news – at the moment we have to wait”.
Liverpool welcome Swansea on Sunday afternoon and although striker Sturridge is unlikely to feature, Liverpool will be relieved with his latest medical status.
“You need to be prepared for this”.
Speaking after Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Bordeaux secured the Reds a place in the last 32, Klopp added: “It wasn’t a situation I saw because we trained in two groups – the starting line-up and the other players”.
“He made eight goals in his first year and I don’t know what you would write about him if he made eight goals in one year and played all the time: not good enough, come on, sell him”.

“If you can go to Man City and put them under the pressure we did it is a sign of improvement, but it is getting that consistency and being able to do it game on game”, said the midfielder.
