Reports suggest that Philadelphia 76ers center was involved in a fight at a Boston nightclub late Wednesday night.

It is unclear what happened to Okafor or his associate after the incident or if they were interviewed by U.S. Park Rangers or PPD.

The 76ers are a mess right now, and it isn’t just because they have gone 0-16 to start the sesaon.

After yesterday’s viral video of Jahlil Okafor fighting with fans in Boston, I wondered whether or not the disastrous start of this season could possibly get worse.

“The embarrassment of what I did because that’s not who I am”, Okafor added. “We’re still dealing with the league and with the team, but I’m not happy about it at all”. TMZ released video earlier Thursday that showed a man it identified as Okafor verbally sparring with several individuals. “I saw [Okafor] a minute after he knocked the dude out”, the source said. “I’ve talked to a few people in my circle about a few other things I’ve put on my radar, like making the All-Star team my first year”.

TMZ spoke to a representative of Okafor, who claimed that the third overall pick of the 2015 National Basketball Association draft felt threatened by the group of hecklers.

Okafor expressed regret for his involvement in the situation on Friday prior to his team’s game against the Rockets.

Okafor, 19, addressed the Boston incident with reporters earlier Friday.

Philadelphia (0-16) dropped its 26th straight game, dating to last season, to match the record for consecutive losses by a North American pro sports team.

When he broke free, Okafor allegedly began punching the man with a closed fist and knocking him to the ground, police said.

Blake Griffin had 40 points – two off his career high – and 12 rebounds for the Clippers, who fell to 7-8 with their seventh loss in eight games.
