Microsoft Launches Cortana Beta for iOS
Cortana for iOS or at least its beta version will offer voice assistance for schedule managing, alarms and reminders and tracking packages, flights or stocks.

With Microsoft having launch Cortana beta for iOS using Cortana TestFlight for initial testing purposes, the initial beta pool is relatively small because Apple caps TestFlight-based betas at almost 2,000 iOS device users per application.
However, it looks like that may be about to change: according to Apple TestFlight members, a beta version of Microsoft’s A.I. assistant has made its way to iOS devices. The app looks just like it does on Widows 10 and Android.
Either way, it’s nice to see that Microsoft’s answer to Siri is still on track: the publisher previously announced that a public version of Cortana would be available for iOS users sometime later this year.
Cortana is also helpful in making appointments, sending text or email, set reminders by time and location across the Phone and PC as also track various things including weather and more.
The beta version of Cortana for iOS is described as the virtual assistant that could help Windows 10 PC users with iPhones connect the two platforms.
These goals are a bit more marketing-themed than actually technical, but we don’t blame Microsoft for trying to familiarize beta testers who might otherwise not be very Cortana-savvy.

The original survey indicated that Cortana for iOS would be available to those in the USA and China, but the survey itself was aimed at potential US testers. Basically, Cortana for iOS will challenge Siri, it will even help you get information about restaurants or movies and even open other apps.
