As Warriors make National Basketball Association history, Kobe Bryant has disaster of a night

He is the Lakers’ Kryptonite and nobody is going to save them from him, especially not Byron Scott.

Scott said Bryant scrimmaged Friday and participated in “75 percent” of the practice. Needless to say, Bryant is still not anxious.

After the game, Curry said in his television interview that it was “special” to be in the history books. He’s still getting plenty of rest.

Bryant scored four points and managed to make just 1-of-14 shots to tie the worst shooting night of his 20-year career when he has attempted at last five shots.

“Obviously he’s struggling right now with his shot”, said Scott.

Curry said the Warriors have done well in staying in the moment and that the great teams are the ones that can focus on each individual game. I dont know if im the only one who feels this way, but it looks like the Lakers have given up on Byron Scott and if they have, welcome to the club.

The Warriors have won 16 straight games to open the season, the longest in the National Basketball Association, sparking talk of possibly breaking the record of the Lakers.

Scott was asked if the Lakers plan, then, would just be to keep Bryant as healthy as possible and put him in positions to succeed this season.

Mind you, he does deserve the majority of the fault in continuing to play Kobe big minutes and giving him an expanded role in the offense, but Kobe deserves some blame too.

“It’s been tough. I just try to relax”, Bryant said. He’s been doing it for a long time. And I don’t want Kobe to go out this way.

Instead, Scott is speaking like Kobe will bounce back, as if this is just a shooting slump. So, I don’t think it’s a matter of him being exhausted or his legs being exhausted. Scott told the media a couple of days ago that Russell is now calling 90 percent of the plays on offense so he clearly has shown some improvement this season and warrants a minutes increase. You’re going to have times when you lose a few in a row and win a few in a row. It’s going to take some time.

“We’re out there executing on the floor and we have a lot of chemistry and we’re trying to take our game to the next level from what we did past year”.

In the meantime, Scott is not planning on changing his game plan with Bryant.
