Yesterday (November 26) saw a dark new teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has released online. Now, in the TV spot which has been titled “All the Way” on Facebook, they look into the sky as an explosion of red light illuminates the atmosphere will John Williams’s Darth Vader theme plays. Then somebody with a gravelly voice says, “There’s been an awakening”.
But of particularly interest is Andy Serkis’ assertion that Supreme Leader Snoke is the new phantom menace. “Have you felt it?”, without knowing what the words meant or who they were aimed at.
“Even you have never faced such a test. It is time”, continues Snoke. Other casts include the veterans: Harrison Ford as Han Solo with his all-time loyal sidekick Chewbacca played by Peter Mayhew, Carrie Fisher as Leia, and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker. Though one does get a glimpse of the film’s hero, Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), he can be seen asking his team of pilots: “All teams give it everything you’ve got”.
The film, which is released in just 20 days or so, has recently been completely finished by director JJ Abrams.
