Lebanon says Israeli drone crashes at Tripoli port
Lebanese Army officials say an Israeli drone crashed in the waters off Tripoli on Saturday, reports Reuters.

Last February, Lebanese media reported that a Lebanese drone entered Israel, near Rosh Hanikra on the Mediterranean coast, and flew over the Galilee for 20 minutes before returning to Lebanon.
Photos of the drone released by the Army showed the aircraft largely in tact, but without wings.
“Around 8:30 am (0530 GMT), a drone belonging to the Israeli enemy fell in the port of Tripoli”, said the military statement.
In response to the allegedly felled aircraft, an IDF spokesperson quipped that the Israeli Army does not “comment on foreign reports”.
It had a Jewish Star of David and Hebrew writing on it.

Israel carried out an air strike in eastern Lebanon in June to destroy one of its drones that had crashed in the mountains outside the village of Saghbine, which is in central Lebanon. In 2012, a drone entered Israeli airspace from the southwest, and was shot down north of the Negev city of Arad by fighter planes. Israel and Hezbollah fought a monthlong war in 2006 that killed 1,200 Lebanese, including hundreds of civilians, and 160 Israelis and caused heavy damage to Lebanon’s infrastructure.
