Three Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank

Two Israeli soldiers were wounded in the incident near the Kfar Adumim settlement on the outskirts of Jerusalem, Israeli police and military said. The Palestinians hurled firebombs and stones at troops, according to the army.

He identified the attacker as 20-year-old Omar Zaatik.

A Palestinian man was shot and killed on Friday after allegedly ramming his vehicle into Israeli soldiers at a bus stop near a Jewish settlement in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

Another Palestinian official, chief negotiator Saeb Erekat, said on Voice of Palestine Radio that Abbas told Kerry that “Palestinians were the victims” and were only defending themselves against Israeli actions.

The deaths come the day after an Israel Defense Forces officer acknowledged to the Israeli Ynet news site that the IDF’s policy is to minimize Palestinian deaths as much as possible.

Nineteen Israelis and an American have been killed in the Palestinian attacks.

Security forces arrived to the area where clashes broke out with Palestinian protesters throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails, creating difficulties for emergency workers treating the wounded.

Israeli forces have killed 91 Palestinians, some while carrying out assaults and others in clashes with police and troops.

At a checkpoint near Nablus, Israeli paramilitary police shot dead a Palestinian who they said had charged at them with a knife.

Since the outbreak of the wave of violence in the West Bank early October, more than a hundred people were killed, a lot of them Palestinians.

A third Palestinian, aged 20, was shot by Israeli forces during clashes in al-Arroub refugee camp near Hebron, and died in hospital, the ministry said.

Defence Minister Moshe Yaalon announced on Wednesday that Israel will build a fortified wall near Hebron, a southern West Bank city that has been a flashpoint in the current unrest.

“We intend to bring a far more massive barrier there”, he said.

The IDF also recommended to the political leadership in Israel that official Palestinian security forces be supplied with weapons and ammunition. The fence will have similar technology as the recently constructed Israeli fence on the Egyptian frontier meant to prevent infiltration by militants and African migrants. The Palestinians say it’s rooted in frustrations over Israel’s almost half a century-long occupation.
