Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho: Didier Drogba criticism was to sell books
Jose Mourinho has taken an incredible swipe at Chelsea icon Didier Drogba.

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta believes the reigning Premier League champions are on the right path again after back-to-back wins.
The Ivorian pointed out that only John Terry remained at Stamford Bridge from that group and called for other players to develop a similar mentality.
Drogba scored 12 times in 14 appearances for Montreal in his first season and took the Impact to the semi-finals.
The Brazil-born Spanish worldwide striker has scored just four goals for the Blues this season and has been given two weeks to prove he can fire Chelsea towards the top four otherwise they will move for a new forward, reports the Independent.
However, Mourinho countered that suggestion by saying Drogba was merely trying to sell his new book. It was to sell books. Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa have been just some of the key players that have disappointed. “I can analyse Didier’s interview with pleasure, but not Didier selling books”. ‘I like good interviews.
Chelsea have endured a woeful title defence and are 15th in the table ahead of their visit to in-form Tottenham on Sunday. The striker has been visibly agitated this season, and tensions reached a boiling point in Tel-Aviv this week when he was involved in a touchline row with his manager, Jose Mourinho, before half-time.
He said: “Nobody speaks about them as title contenders like they speak about Manchester City, United, this and that”.
This season, he was expected to improve even further.
“We were playing well in the last few games prior to Norwich as well, but we didn’t get the results we deserved”.

Mourinho said Chelsea’s players were “focused on doing our job the best we can”.
