Kendrick Lamar And J. Cole Gift Fans With New Black Friday Remixes
While many folks spent Black Friday in the retail streets looking for early Christmas deals or comatose from Thanksgiving food festivities, rappers Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole made a decision to bless fans with a little gift of their own. The two MCs dropped freestyles over each other’s beats, and they’re both heat rocks. Cole have released dual tracks, both titled “Black Friday”.

Kendrick’s “Black Friday” includes a public endorsement for Kanye West’s presidential run. And while Cole’s “Black Friday” isn’t as transcendent as his pal’s, it is worth hearing until the very end because he offers some breaking news: “When you and K.Dot shit dropping?” What they did? Kendrick Lamar remixed J. Cole’s “A Tale of 2 Citiez”, from “2014 Forest Hills Drive”, freestyling over the instrumental, and J. Cole remixed Kendrick’s “Alright”, from “To Pimp a Butterfly”, freestyling over the instrumental too!
He trails off before we get to hear what he’s actually talking about, but later on, Kendrick Lamar’s sister Kayla Duckworth took to Instagram and rave about the records – giving us an interesting tidbit of info.
