Being a very capable device despite being for a smartphone much older than the current Nexus models, it would be a shame for the Google Nexus 4 not to get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
Finally, a specific set of users who are upgrading their device from CM12.1 YOG4P or CM12.1 YOG7D are recommended to skip the nightly releases and wait for the Snapshot releases which are more stable and bug-free.
CM13 will bring a number of new features, such as Fingerprint sensor and Multi-Window support to Android devices.
With the launch of every new Android update, thousands of CyanogenMod fans await the next big version of their CyanogenMod ROMs. Here are the devices with official CM 13 nightlies today.
Jump over to the official CyanogenMod website for more details. According to the latest reports, CyanogenMod CM13 is already running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is further available for a handful of Android devices. However, you can update your existing CM12.1 nightly device with a CM13 nightly build if you are really willing to accept an inferior experience. Second, updating to CyanogenMod 13 will also require updating your smartphone’s Google apps via a service like Xposed or OpenGapps. The new upgrade is expected to take place by the end of this year. The company is good at releasing their new phones around Mobile World Congress, which will probably be where they will unveil the HTC One M10, assuming the company still wants to use this series name.
Cyanogen’s “nightly” build versions receive frequent updates with the latest features but with little attention to bugs or other issues.
