Cheerleaders interrupted by LeBron and his Cleveland Cavaliers

It’s either you got it or you don’t. “We did a good job keeping ourselves focused”.

LeBron James (top) and his Cleveland Cavaliers are trapped by a squad of cheerleaders. DeMarre Carroll had a big game and was flawless from the field in the first half and finished with a stat line of 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting, five rebounds and four steals. They will play the Wizards in Washington on Saturday, then return home to host the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. It swung fortunes 16 times. The half ended tied, but LeBron, with an assist from Kevin Love, had begun to force his will on the game.

The Raptors went up for good with 7:45 to go in the fourth. “The games we’ve kind of kicked away were just those lulls we have in the game”.

Despite James’ confidence in himself, Cavs coach David Blatt says he has to manage his star player.

I thought that we got exhausted for obvious reasons. More so because we’re short-handed. “If we just care about the (win), I feel like if we just worry about that, everything else will take care of itself”.

“Not an excuse”, he said. “We need to hold each other more accountable”.

These are the adjectives we’ve gotten to when describing the play of LeBron James.

The Raptors are glad to be back home after completing their dreaded West Coast trip, despite winning the final two games. Biyombo being the only real threat on the glass, the Raptors team did a great job to gobble up their rebounds. “We started the game the right way, and that helped”, Biyombo said after the game. “Protecting the paint, talking, being physical, being a deterrent at the rim and that was big for us”.

Already suffering from injuries in the backcourt, the Cavaliers played against the Raptors without the services of point guard Matthew Dellavedova, who after scoring in double figures in back-to-back games, was sidelined by a left calf injury.

“It’s definitely insane”, said a nostalgic DeRozan. Williams made a 3-pointer at the buzzer to cut the Raptors’ lead to 82-80 after three quarters.

The Cleveland Cavalier and his teammates became unwitting participants of the pre-game entertainment when they prematurely took to the court for the match against the Toronto Raptors.

The teams were tied at 25 after one quarter as Luis Scola shot 7 for 9 to lead all scorers with 15 points.

Smith scored 15 points and Thompson grabbed 11 rebounds for the Cavs, who fell to 11-4 and will travel to the Charlotte Hornets on Friday. He passed Reggie Miller in the second quarter for 18th place on the all-time scoring list. “We’ve got to understand that it is our guys versus everyone else, versus the fans, versus the opposing group”. As a part of the festivities, he got to announce the starting lineups.
