Kinda insane what the Bears defense just did to Aaron Rodgers

On Thursday, he won for the first time in five trips to Lambeau Field. “We’ve won some and we’ve lost some”, Cutler said. “Vic called heck of a game and those guys responded”. As for Rodgers, well, he did complete only 47.1 percent of his passes, which was his lowest mark since last year’s Week 15 loss at Buffalo (40.5 percent) and his lowest in a victory since Week 9 of the 2012 season (46.7 percent against the Cardinals). Everybody is good…. Obviously it’s a division game, which we put a lot of stock in. More than one player sounded perturbed by the pageantry, not appreciating being the Packers’ “homecoming game”.

“We look at our schedule and I think we like our remaining schedule”, Cutler admitted.

Prosinski has started two games for Rolle now.

After linebacker Jonathan Anderson stuffed Packers running back Eddie Lacy for no gain on that failed fourth-down play, the Bears played like a team with something to prove.

“I just pursued from behind and tried to wrap up and get an arm on it”, Prosinski said. “He is the first coordinator that I have had that I can really understand as far as what he is trying to do with the game plan”. After the game, he credited quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains for getting him ready to play. The former Raiders cornerback earning a spot in Bears history with one of the best games of his career on Thanksgiving night.

It was a situation where Porter learned from a loss to Detroit. No longer led by the gunslinger Favre, Rodgers uses his legs to help keep defenses off balance. Opposing defenses approach the Packers offense much differently with Lacy in the backfield, opening up more opportunities in the passing game as a result.

Credit the defensive backs, too.

One aspect they did perform well with was converting a first-quarter fumble recovery by Lamarr Houston into a TD. “They were trying to make a quick throw, and I just beat (the receiver) to the spot”. “The consistency we’re getting in certain areas needs to pick up”. This team was supposed to be in rebuilding mode considering its lack of talent on both sides of the football, but the Bears have been winning with players the average football fan has never heard before. The defeat not sitting well with James Jones. “The practices, the preparations, I don’t see an issue”. “He blocks, he runs off (coverage)”.

“We’re moving in the right direction”. He’s a fun guy to play with.

“If you’re not going to panic now, when are you?” They didn’t want to try and rub a little extra salt in a wound that they anticipated having, right?

For all that’s ailed the Packers’ offense, they’re finally starting to run the ball effectively. They’ve reached respectability again, with a chance to shock the league in the final five weeks of the regular season. Marc Mariani and Marquess Wilson took his spot on the offense…. He has his flaws, but the veteran safety has played well in starter Antrel Rolle’s absence. Much of that is due to injuries and limited personnel. The defense made the biggest statement. They appear better fits in a 3-4. “The front seven did a good job of putting pressure on (Packers QB Aaron Rodgers)”, Porter said.
