Storm warnings issued in Oklahoma

On Friday night, the rain will switch over to sleet and snow for central Oklahoma, so you may want to spend your time indoors and off the roads.

Ice accumulations of a quarter to around a half-inch will be possible by Friday night. Accumulating ice will be the biggest threat with this set-up – be very careful if out and about.

Temperatures should warm up to 35 degrees Saturday afternoon.

SATURDAY: Rain and snow will begin to clear from west to east with a bit more sunshine expected to peak through late day. There is a chance for additional scattered showers tomorrow with highs near 40.
