Bryant still has the support of Lakers coach, Byron Scott.

Bryant is averaging 30.5 minutes per game and 15.2 points per game on 31.1 percent shooting.

“You can’t have so much bravado and enjoy the good times and then have times like this and kind of cower away from it”, Bryant said about the Lakers’ continuous losses.

“I would never, never, never do that”, Scott said after practice at the Lakers’ facility. “That’s not an option whatsoever”. “I don’t see that happening with the upcoming schedule we have”, said Walton, who is filling in for injured Golden State coach Steve Kerr.

In a conference call with global media outlets on Thursday morning (Manila time), the transcript of which was given to Spin.ph, Curry didn’t deny that they have talked about wanting to break the historic 33-game winning streak achieved by the Wilt Chamberlain and Jerry West-led Los Angeles Lakers in 1972. “I doubt he’ll do it, but I think Kobe should retire right now”. Scott answered a question about if he thought the “Showtime” Lakers would defeat the present-day Warriors in a seven-game series.

A four-game losing streak has forced Scott to consider lineup changes.

“It’s been tough. I just try to relax”, Bryant said. We got to continue to work, and continue to get better. Hopefully, this can turn around and Kobe can in fact go out like the true champion he is, but it will take time.

Julius Randle is shooting 42.8 percent from the floor, D’Angelo Russell is also trying to find his shot and the roster doesn’t have many facilitators beyond the rookie point guard.

“Even the great Kobe Bryant can’t be great at age 37 with all of these obstacles joined, colluding with one another to bring him down”, Smith said.

“Yeah, I’ve seen him play and it’s disgusting”, he said.

Looking back to last season, the Suns have at least one encouraging reason to believe they can stop the Warriors, particularly as they upset Golden State 107-95 in front of their home fans.
