Thousands jammed into the Robarts Arena in Sarasota, Florida, to hear the billionaire celebrity speak at a raucous rally on Saturday afternoon. After the Trump helicopter landed, he first spoke to the crowd outside, calling for a half-dozen “beautiful children” to hop aboard for a ride.

Trump denied having any knowledge of who Kovalski is and any knowledge of his physical handicaps. ‘Oh, I don’t know what I said! “I’m telling you, I would never do it”. John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign. Sarasota GOP Chairman Joe Gruters is Trump’s Florida campaign chairman. He was also roundly criticized for mocking a New York Times reporter who has a disability.

“I would never mock a person that has a disability”, Trump said.

He called himself a strong supporter of disabled Americans, especially veterans, and said he has spent millions of dollars making his properties accessible to the disabled. PolitiFact rated it trousers on Fire.

But at the weekend rally in Sarasota, Florida, Trump took it a step further.

Trump, 69, did not back off of his assertion. “Worldwide, the Muslims were without question going wild”, the real estate mogul stated at a marketing crusade rally in Sarasota, Florida.

For Donald Trump, it was as close to an apology as he could muster.

“Don’t hurt the person”.

“Be nice to the person”.

For him, the protest was more than just a fight against racism. “Terrorism comes naturally when you have weak leadership and weak people”, he said.

“He’s honest, he tells it the way it is”.

“I just don’t like them”.

“They’ve now latched onto Muslims as an easy target with no consequences”, Mogahed said.

Even so, some observers say the verbal attacks risk alienating larger segments of voters, particularly other immigrants anxious they could be next. Jeb Bush follows with 7 percent of the Republicans’ vote. Trump vowed to do away with Common Core, beef up the military and bomb Syrian oil fields.

The controversial remarks may be taking a toll on Trump, who has seen his support in Reuters/Ipsos opinion polling of Republican voters nationally take a sharp downturn in the past week.

“He’s not a bought-and-paid for politician”. Perhaps in homage to the city’s circus heritage, an elephant was paraded around with Mr. Trump’s name painted on its side. “He’s got some guts and he tells it like it is”. But if these Republicans truly want to keep us safe, why don’t they ever raise the issue of right-wing terrorists? “And so numerous candidates don’t have the stuff to do the job that needs to be done”. Shockingly, Trump defended the assault saying, “maybe he should have been roughed up” adding, “It was absolutely disgusting what he was doing”.

“We reject his racist message and the other Republicans need to reject it, too”, said Junior Salazar, who led demonstrators chanting “dump Trump”.

But inside, cheers erupted as Trump discussed lacking the time to be “politically correct”. “It’s time for people to stand up for what’s right”.

He ridiculed people who doubt his plan to have Mexico pay to build an enormous wall across America’s southern border: “They’re not businesspeople. They’re going to fall asleep, go home”.
