Tottenham vs Chelsea: A positive result against Spurs could kick-start Blues

Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino expects Chelsea to make a strong recovery after their nightmare start to the Premier League season.

The Key matchup in this week in the Premier League takes place at White Hart Lane where Harry Kane will lead his Tottenham team against last year’s defending champions, Chelsea.

Mourinho, the Chelsea manager, has also said he has no sympathy with Spurs over their gruelling fixture list ahead of tomorrow’s (Sunday’s) lunchtime clash at White Hart Lane.

“Sometimes teams have bad results and that can change a very good team”.

Club legend Micky Hazard believes in-form Tottenham are firmly in the mix for the Premier League title this season, though admits their inexperience could cost them the ultimate prize. “I think he feeds off it and it helps him, so the best thing to do is worry about playing your own game”.

“I feel we have enough quality and a strong squad”, said Pochettino. We have to play every game with ambition, with determination.

“They go smoothly step by step, build a team, new players and give conditions for the young players to develop”.

“When you work hard and you play well you need a positive result to be confident and to believe”.

Cesc Fabregas, however, will be back in contention for Chelsea after a toe problem as the Blues search for a crucial victory.

“That’s why, in a fundamental match for us last Tuesday, I left Zouma out after good performances to play Gary and to show Gary that confidence”.

“It was hard for (Mourinho) because he was very upset and didn’t speak”.

I am still not convinced by Chelsea, although they have won their last couple of games. “It is a good game for us to be motivated, we will be on top again like we always are and everyone will be fit again”. Spurs are at 1.72 if we use the draw no bet market and this is good value.

“But then the owner of Southampton called me and said he wanted me to manage their team”.

The retired former England worldwide has stated that he knew Kane would be a hit from the first time he seen him in the Tottenham side.
