While details are scarce, Fake Shore Drive reports that the shooting took place at around 1:40PM in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago.
Two men have been apprehended in the connection of Capo’s death so far. During their attempted getaway, they ran over a stroller and killed the 1-year-old boy sitting inside. I can only imagine what she’s going through. The woman “didn’t get hit at all”. “It’s insane”. A young man (confirmed by friends to be Capo) was shot in the hip and back and taken to the Advocate Christ Medical Center where he was subsequently pronounced dead. Their names have not yet been released.
A disturbing video is floating around online showing Capo in a pool of blood on the sidewalk just minutes after the shooting. In the clip, several bystanders are talking to Capo with the hopes that it will keep him awake.
FakeShoreDrive identified the slain rapper as Capo, who is associated with Keef and part of his crew. See messages from Chief Keef, Meek Mill, A$AP Ant, Juicy J, Fredo Santana, Lil Durk, Yung Gleesh and Lil Reese below.
