Rivers, who turns 23 on August 1, returns to play for his father, Doc Rivers, after being acquired last season from the Pelicans, who drafted him out of Duke in 2012.
He scored 8.4 points per game in the postseason, including a 25-point, six-rebound, six-assist performance against the Rockets in the Western Conference semifinals.
The L.A. Clippers announced today The signing of 10-time National Basteball Association All-Star forward Paul Pierce. “He’s always been pretty straightforward and a team builder”. Pierce was also named to the 1999 National Basteball Association All-Rookie First Team and was the National Basteball Association 3-Point Shootout victor in 2010.
Heading to Los Angeles for Paul Pierce, though, is essentially just like going home for him.
Rivers has been a disappointment in his National Basteball Association career so far after he was one of the most heralded college recruits in the 2011 class, and then being drafted 10th overall by the New Orleans Hornets.
