Apparently, Zafar Khan is the brother of Akhtar Khan, who was earlier arrested by the police on similar charges. He was allegedly tasked with sending information about Indian army from western UP and Uttarakhand.

Accused Mohammad Ezaz is from Islamabad district of Pakistan and was living in UP’s Bareilly district for the past few months, according to STF. He was apprehended by a police team at Delhi railway station and “documents having implication on national security” were recovered from his possession, he said.
During investigation the accused revealed that in 2012, he had come in contact with the ISI.
On Friday, Ezaz was planning to go to Delhi along with confidential documents when the STF laid a trap and arrested him near Meerut.
Head constable Rasheed was his relative and Khan soon roped him into the network, luring him with a share of the commission he received from alleged ISI agents in Pakistan.
Two suspected agents of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), were presented before a court in Kolkata city of West Bengal on Sunday.
