Palestinians shot dead after alleged auto attacks
The newspaper added that the information that reached the Israelis indicated the possibility of the PA considering a resolution in either the UN Security Council or the General Assembly (where the USA has no veto), demanding worldwide protection for Palestinians in “the occupied State of Palestine”.

A few hours later, Magen David Adom rescue services reported another stabbing attack near a bus in the city. The assailant then reportedly exited the vehicle and, knife in hand, charged at the soldiers.
Many of the Palestinians killed have been alleged attackers. Other officers opened fire at the attacker and shot him dead.
Earlier, a 38-year-old Palestinian stabbed an Israeli border guard at Damascus Gate, the main entry point for Palestinians to the walled Old City, before being shot dead.
Israeli forces have killed 94 Palestinians, many of them teenagers.
Palestine Liberation Organisation official Saeb Erekat said the latest Israeli move was an attempt to coerce the European Union into a U-turn on the labelling issue.
During a weapons raid in Hebron, soldiers from the Givati infantry brigade’s Tzabar battalion seized an M-16 assault rifle, a handgun, and ammunition.

An Israeli army spokesperson said nine of those detained in the occupied West Bank were from the southern district of Hebron, three of which were detained for allegedly being “Hamas operatives”.
