Pm modi talks about climate change on mann ki baat
[ November 29, 2015 13:16:00 ] New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the nation through his popular radio programme Mann ki Baat.

I am told that after the last Mann Ki Baat, the helpline is getting an increased response, he informed. “It is the responsibility and concern of all”.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the role of energy conversation in controlling climate change and global warming.
Modi said,”The best way to make sure that Earth’s temperature is not further increased, is by energy conservation”.
On disaster preparedness PM said, he had propounded the idea of the SAARC nations, In which nations will work together.

Prime Minister Modi said that he got a call from Lakhwinder Singh from Jalandhar, whose question was that how could we control stubble burning. Their determination and courage is remarkable. PM then shared a touching and inspirational story of Javed Ahmed who was shot at by terrorists in 1996 in Kashmir, but he survived. He couldn’t stand on his feet after that but he did not give up. However, he lost his legs but never lost faith and positive thinking and dedicated the life to social service.

PM talked about three e-books which have been placed on MyGov on Swachh Bharat, Sansaad Adarsh Gram and health sector.
