Arsenal’s Sanchez injured at Norwich

Newly-promoted club Norwich City (3-7-3, 12 points) is scheduled to meet with powerhouse team Arsenal FC (8-3-2, 26 points) at the Carrow road this Sunday to cap the week’s 2015-2016 Premier League season matches.

Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger insists there were no pre-game issues with Alexis Sanchez on Sunday. We always build up something and now it is time to prove we can do something.

Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy did well to beat away a Sanchez drive, but when Gary O’Neil failed to control the goalkeeper’s scuffed clearance, it allowed Sanchez to slip in Ozil on the left of the box.

Liverpool had much happier injury news to report in their 1-0 win over Swansea City at Anfield as they welcomed back England internationals Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge after spells on the sidelines.

We should have continued to dominate the ball and made sure we saw out the half, but as we’ve done so often recently we conceded a soft goal.

“Every game is important at the moment, it is so tight so we don’t want to drop any points”.

“We were the most unsafe team and we had the best chances”, said Mourinho, the Chelsea manager.

Wenger’s decision not to buy a Morgan Schneiderlin or Sami Khedira type midfielder may now haunt him, with his persistence in flair players a potential vulnerability over the winter months. “[Against] West Brom it is true we had a bad result but it was very unfortunate to lose this game, [and] we have shown that with a good and quick response on Tuesday night”. Alexis Sanchez netted twice along with Mesut Ozil to put Arsene Wenger’s men in the driving seat in their quest to qualify for the last-16 of Europe’s elite competition.

The Ireland worldwide impressed throughout and it was his fine run and pass that set up for Lewis Grabban for Norwich’s equaliser just before halftime. He is not a tactical, defensive player. With one win in seven games and a worse start than the Canary team that were relegated two years ago, a win is a must.

The loss of Francis Coquelin was a massive blow to Arsenal’s defense. The Chilean has been playing in the “red zone” for weeks and was in desperate need of a rest so we should have taken this opportunity to give him the afternoon off.
