A gunman who police say staged a deadly attack on a Planned Parenthood clinic was a recluse who stashed food in the woods, avoided eye contact and warned neighbors about government spying, those who knew him said.

Vicki Cowart, the regional head of Planned Parenthood, said the gunman “broke in” to the clinic Friday but didn’t get past a locked door leading to the main part of the facility. The suspect took that opportunity and subsequently followed the commands of law enforcement officials afterward, according to the colorado FOP.

The father of a Waianae woman said that his daughter was among the three victims killed in the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood shooting on Friday. After his killing spree was stopped, two civilians were killed and nine people were injured, including five police officers.

Planned Parenthood has denied seeking any payments beyond legally permitted reimbursement costs for donating the organs to researchers.

Parishioners at the nondenominational Hope Chapel remembered 44-year-old Garrett Swasey on Sunday as a trusted partner in prayer and a champion athlete. He became a police officer six years ago, around the time his daughter was born, 73-year-old David Swasey said. “He did it because it was the thing that he felt he needed to do”. “Even when the gunman was still inside of our health center, politicians who have long opposed safe and legal abortion were on television pushing their campaign to defund Planned Parenthood and invoking the discredited video smear campaign that reportedly fed this shooter’s rage”.

“What I would say to anyone who tries to link this awful tragedy to anyone who opposes abortion or opposes the sale of body parts is, this is typical left-wing tactics”, Carly Fiorina said on “Fox News Sunday”. “He was there to save lives”.

“We have a person that’s pretty much off the grid and acting for whatever motivation”, Suthers said on ABC’s “This Week”.

As a skater, Garrett Swasey won a national championship in the junior ranks and competed in the U.S. Championships at least three times, his father said. When being arrested, Dear allegedly told authorities, “no more baby parts”.

A fundraiser on YouCaring is trying to raise money for the family. He was originally from Texas, the newspaper says, and leaves behind two children. University officials planned to observe a moment of silence before the start of two college basketball games Saturday to honor Swasey, according to a university press release. Thank you for your generosity.
