Bayern Munich coach Guardiola wants Man Utd move over Man City

Manuel Pellegrini said he has enough faith in his own ability to dismiss constant speculation that Pep Guardiola is being lined up to replace him. With a pay off clause of £7 million going into his final season at the club next year, it is not inconceivable that the board might like to bring in another coach to get Manchester United back to winning ways. Sir Alex Ferguson disclosed in his most recent book that he made an informal approach to Guardiola over dinner in NY in the September of his last season, 2012-2013.

He said the club would not fall apart if Guardiola left. Guardiola’s contract will expire next summer, and Manchester United could have an opportunity to secure the services of one of world soccer’s leading coaches.

However Guardiola is still yet to make clear his future plans – while reports in Spain linking him with a summer move to Manchester City have been labelled premature by the Premier League side. In every big team, [Real] Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United – everywhere there is the same thing, so trusting in your work is important.

With Luis Enrique doing a fine job at the Nou Camp, returning to Barca would potentially have to involve Guardiola extending his stay in Munich and returning at a later date.

While the Bavarians would fail to add another, the two goals would be enough to see them win yet again, as Pep Guardiola’s team continue their dominance in the German top flight.
