Australian 12-year-old Jorja Hope was diagnosed with a condition that causes progressive inner-ear hearing loss, the Maitland Mercury reports.

Her twin sister, Chloe, made a Facebook page called “Help Jorja Meet Taylor Swift In Sydney 2015” in hopes that Jorja could get to meet Tay before she loses her hearing completely, which doctors “can’t stop”, as their mother told BuzzFeed.

Taylor Swift is reportedly planning a huge birthday celebration in Australia with her boyfriend and best friends. And for an Australian fan, meeting the star was a pipe dream that managed to come true. When the young girl discovered her plight, she had one major concern: “I won’t be able to hear Taylor Swift sing”.

Jorja and her sister Chloe had been vocal on social media about Jorja’s wish to see Swift perform live before she eventually goes deaf.

“She was very excited”, Jojra said.

Jorja Hope had her wildest dreams come true Saturday night when she not only attended the singer’s concert in Sydney, Australia, but she also got to meet her backstage. “Jorja has battled her whole life from being born preemie with growth problems, to surgeries on her ears already and five surgeries for broken bones”, Melissa added.
