A trial court on Monday remanded a BSF personnel to seven days police custody in connection with an espionage racket for allegedly sharing secret information about India’s national security with Pakistan’s Inter-Servies Intelligence (ISI).
Based on tip-off about ongoing anti-national activities sponsored by Pakistan Intelligence Operative, who reportedly had a network spread over civilian handlers and security force personnel, Delhi Police’s Crime Branch developed a network and a few suspects were identified, said a senior police official.
Sources said a Delhi Police team arrived in Rajouri on Saturday where they conducted raid at the residence of Kafaitullah and checked his bank account details.
