Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool could sign Marco Reus and

Some of the rumours have been borderline absurd.

Dortmund have a history of selling their best players, one of the main reasons Klopp grew exhausted of his post there.

“There is nothing between us and if there was a possibility that we could get one of those players and we needed him, then we could try it. But there is no agreement, of course not”. The Reds have been consistently linked with the playmaker for the last 18 months, and Klopp’s arrival has reportedly made the deal more likely.

Midfielders Sven Bender and Marco Reus, as well as defenders Mats Hummels, Neven Subotic and Lukasz Piszczek have all been the subject of rumours about a potential move to Anfield.

‘At this moment there is nothing to talk about.

“But there is no agreement that we can’t do business with Dortmund”. There’s also no agreement that we can’t sell players to Dortmund!’ “That’s what we have to do”. The former Dortmund coach inherited a decent but not fantastic squad from Brendan Rodgers, so Reus and Hummels would be incredible signings.

“Jurgen would never do anything that would damage BVB’s interests”, he told told Bild am Sonntag. He would never approach any players behind our back. We can speak openly about things and we will keep on doing so. “We have been through too much together”.
