“Beautiful, gross, strong, thin, fat, pretty, ugly, sexy, disgusting, flawless, woman”, she wrote.

Curves are in! Serena Williams and Amy Schumer have got almost naked for the new Pirelli calendar and there’s no airbrushing in sight.
“When Pirelli approached me, they said they wanted to make a departure from the past”, the world renowned photographer added.
For more than half a century, Italian tire maker Pirelli has released an annual calendar full of photos of supermodels in pin-up poses wearing skimpy lingerie or nothing at all.
“Trainwreck” star Amy Schumer goes topless for famed photographer Annie Leibovitz in the 2016 edition of the Pirelli Calendar! “I wanted to the pictures to show the women as they are, with no pretense”.
Leibovitz, whose iconic images include John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s Rolling Stone cover in 1980 and shot Miley Cyrus’s controversial Vanity Fair images in 2008, said that the coffee prop wasn’t intentional.
This calendar is so completely different.
“I’m 34, everything is about to drop, so let’s get a shot of it before”, said Schumer who agreed to a vanity-free portrait.
In a behind-the-scenes film writer Fran Lebowitz says “perhaps clothed women will have a moment”. The calendar isn’t for sale; as in past years, it’ll be gifted to 20,000 “VIPs, musicians, politicians, and royalty”.

Two other available images from the calendar, of Patti Smith and Yao Chen, are the women in their element, casually ruling. But if you’re feeling nostalgic, Pirelli has updated its website and you can peruse the archives that date back to the ’60s.
