The fire was quickly extinguished by 9:42 a.m.
The Red Cross says it plans to offer temporary assistance to the more than dozen families who were displaced by the fire.
No other information was available at this time.
The Glasgow Fire Department said in a news release that the fire happened Saturday morning at the Stonehenge apartment complex.
Thirty-three firefighters responded to the call and several crews were on the scene for one hour and forty-five minutes, Iannuzzi said.
According to the fire department, a passerby driving on N. L. R. Wells Blvd. noticed the fire and made the call.
The Chief says a fire wall prevented the damage from being worse.
