Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho says he has no problem with Diego Costa
Chelsea’s draw at Tottenham on Sunday left the Premier League champions 15 points behind leader Manchester City and still without back-to-back wins in the team’s title defense.

That’s not to say they won’t forgive him because we’ve all seen a lot worse in football, but it’s poor behaviour and they deserve better.
“If he wants to hurt me it would not be with a bib. It was just a decision and I think we played really well, the dynamic was really good”, Mourinho told BT Sport.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says his relationship with striker Diego Costa is still very solid.
“I think Diego is very privileged”. When I decided not to play him, he went (back to the bench).
John Terry, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and others have all found themselves on the substitutes’ bench during Chelsea’s poor start to the season.
“I think playing the way we played, I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t lose one in the next 10 matches”. “Now I am happy I am playing and the team is doing well”.
The decision to drop Costa was purely tactical as Mourinho confirmed that “physically Diego is fine” and that he felt dropping him was “the best strategy” heading into the game against Tottenham, but with his side unable to score, some may argue whether or not that was accurate.
“He has a problem in his ankle”, Pochettino said after the game, as quoted by FourFourTwo.
“I don’t know what his problem is, it’s not as if he’s scoring goals and doing well”, the former England worldwide said. He is working well every day and his mood is positive.
Mourinho offered no sympathy afterwards to the side’s top scorer for last season and claimed that Costa had enjoyed a privileged status for most of the campaign. It was the best Chelsea performance of the season, against a risky team.
Chelsea are now languishing down to the 14th spot in standings, with just four wins from the 14 games which they have played.
“I’m convinced that, by the end of December, we’ll be in a different position to now and we’ll have shortened the difference to the top teams”.

“I learned how to live without the happiness of winning matches”, he said. “We deserved a bit more than we’ve got”. It s a good thing that, maybe, we are a bigger club than Chelsea or that we deserve more. “We are happy because we didn’t concede a goal”, the 21-year-old said.
