Tyson Fury: WBC champion Deontay Wilder wants to fight Brit
“I went home dehydrated before I even touched anything”.

“I had good information off good resources not to touch anything in the changing rooms because they might try and drug you….” In the match against Wladimir Klitschko, 39, in Dusseldorf, Germany, on November 28, Fury won by a points decision made by a three-judge panel. “So, if Deontay Wilder wants a unification fight he is going to have to wait, because Wladimir Klitschko has a round two… ding ding ding!” “I believe he is insane”, said Klitschko, who is nicknamed “Dr. Steelhammer”, in an interview with Die Welt. “Joshua insists if he stepped in with the 6’9” Mancunian right now, he would leave the ring heavyweight world champion.
“They asked me which one would I spar first and I said I would take the biggest one first”.
THE world’s media descended on the Macron Stadium this afternoon to greet new heavyweight boxing champion of the world Tyson Fury. Which is precisely what I did during the Wladimir Klitschko 64-4 (53) vs. Tyson Fury 25-0 (18) championship bout this past Saturday.
Showing disdain, Fury used rangy control, head movement, footwork, speed and huge self-belief to refuse Klitschko a foothold in the fight. “I don’t hate you, but I want to destroy you and your career”. I know one of the first statements he made was: ‘I’m not fighting David Haye or Deontay Wilder’.
Tyson said he’d right Wlad again (Martin Meissner/PA) “It doesn’t really matter to me where I fight”.
Fury continued, “People can say, “You are against abortions, you are against paedophilia, you are against homosexuality”, but my faith and my culture is based on the Bible”. I’m a victor and I had a lot of bumps in the road and could have said, “I’m done, no more, I’m packing it in”. “I am what I am”, added Fury.
“If the opportunity presented itself, we’d take the fight”.

Fury celebrated in unconventional style on Saturday night, when he launched into the Aerosmith classic “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” – and the 6ft 8in fighter hinted there could be more to come. Fury is angry because Haye turned his back on him at least twice in 2013 when they both signed to face each other in the ring only to be left out in the dark after massive fight preparation.
