Official CyanogenMod ROM in development for OnePlus 2
CyanogenMod was originally geared to target those who loved to root and play around with their Android-powered handsets, and the OnePlus One was a pretty decent candidate for such a handset.

An official CyanogenMod ROM is in development for the OnePlus 2, giving owners another alternative to the stock OxygenOS software.
Unfortunately, due to a conflict with Micromax in India, OnePlus had to end its partnership with Cyanogen.
The OnePlus 2 CyanogenMod ROMs will soon be available to download via XDA-Developers or the official CyanogenMod website. This resulted in the release of the Oxygen OS and thereafter, all OnePlus devices shipped with the same.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update brings with it much sought after features and as expected all the latest Android flagship phones like the Samsung Galaxy S6, HTC One M9 and more are invited to get the update.
CyanogenMod has a huge community of developers and supporters.
Android M as it is called is already on Google’s Nexus 5, 6, 7, and 9 devices and is reputed to extend battery life considerably with its new doze mode. Some users however still prefer to use custom ROMs on their devices instead of official firmware.
The last important thing to note is that those moving from CyanogenMod 12.1 will also need to update their apps, such as through OpenGapps, Xposed, etc., and third-party addons after updating to CM13.

LG is waiting for its Australian carriers to approve and modify the update – these often include new home screens, lock-ins, preferred apps and more.
