Recognizing the run play that was called likely would go nowhere against the New England Patriots’ defensive alignment, Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler audibled to a different one. The Patriots capitalized with a Tom Brady touchdown pass to Scott Chandler for a 14-0 lead.

It was not an easy win for the orange and blue by any stretch of the imagination, as it took overtime to finally come to the final score of 30-24, Broncos.

The Broncos received a new set of downs and he threw a touchdown pass to Andre Caldwell from 4 yards out. “I have no idea”, Brady said.

On Sunday night, there was a major difference between the first half and second half. “You think they’re looking at it, and they probably are”, Brady said. Osweiler threw to him 13 times.

“I always have so much respect for guys that play this game because you risk a lot to play. But, yeah, it was fun”. Quarterback Kirk Cousins passed to wide receiver DeSean Jackson for one touchdown and ran for another and the Washington Redskins held on to beat the New York Giants 20-14 to pull into a tie atop the NFC East Division with five games to go. “I think we just stay the course and continue to work with Christian today, tomorrow and continue to make up ground”. “So, of course, we’re hoping for the best”.

What we do know is he needs to pick up his play on the field.

“It was a check that we had worked on all week in practice”, Osweiler said. Do we get to that point?

Some notable injures occurred Sunday night in the win; safety T.J.

Osweiler hit Demaryius Thomas for 36 yards – Thomas’ only catch of the game – on the first play of the drive. “He could have gone to the booth, so he’s got to go up and down with the cast on him”. Kubiak said guard Evan Mathis “didn’t have any setbacks on his ankle, so hopefully he’ll be better this week”. He started pointing out some things to me about some of the things that he felt good about, and he was echoing that to Brock. The team already lost Dion Lewis, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola for either the season or lengthy stretches of time and they simply can not afford to see anyone else go down.

Added Brady: “I just think the circumstances of the game, the circumstances of the situation that we were in with winning by [14 points], having a good lead there in the fourth quarter, having a couple of third downs called back – huge third downs that we made – called back by penalty, losing a player like Gronk in the fourth quarter, fighting back like we did to get to overtime”.
