Pink takes on malnutrition as UNICEF ambassador
Pink made the announcement on Monday, during her live appearance on Good Morning America, and explained why she chose to become involved with the organization. “And she wants Santa to just understand what she needs, which sounds like me with her dad actually”.

The 36-year-old singer – who shares three-year-old daughter, Willow with husband Carey Hart – will focus on children’s health initiatives, including fighting global malnutrition, which impacts 159 million children. “And within a week, you can see the difference in these children”.
Pop star Pink has been announced as the newest ambassador for UNICEF. It brings them back to life.
“As a mom myself, it’s devastating to know that children are suffering because they don’t have adequate nutrition”, said the Grammy Award-winning singer. UNICEF’s partner firms, such as Disney and Target, will send funds required to deliver the peanut paste packets to Haiti and other nations affected heavily by child malnutrition as the kids keep earning points.
She also opened up about UNICEF’s Kid Power, a bracelet that kids wear that allows them to go on missions and stay active to earn points, which ultimately unlock therapeutic food packets to feed malnourished children around the world.
But it was her work in Haiti that really opened her eyes to child malnourishment.
“One in four kids in America are inactive and one in four kids globally are malnourished and UNICEF has brilliantly come up with how to connect the two”, Pink said.
Suffice it to say, Pink is definitely excited about her new position.
