Rams’ Case Keenum still in concussion protocol
Keenum has yet to clear concussion protocol, clearing the way for the 26-year-old Foles to potentially reclaim his starting gig against the Bengals.

St. Louis Rams quarterback Nick Foles is going to be back under center for the team in Week 12. For most of the week, Keenum split reps in practice with Foles, but Foles took more than Keenum on Friday as the Rams finished practice outside in the rain. “So, he’s feeling pretty good actually”.
“I’ve got him listed as questionable”.
Keenum took over for the struggling Foles last week, but then a controversy erupted after he stayed in the game against the Baltimore Ravens despite appearing unsteady following a hit to his head. Even if the Rams official spoke with Keenum and thought that he was fine, why didn’t an National Football League concussion spotter stop the game so Keenum could be examined off the field?
“It’s an important issue”, Fisher said. So, the league’s gathering information and we’re looking at the system under which we operate right now to see if there’s anything we can do to where we avoid that kind of situation that happened to Case. If that’s what they want to do, I’m going to be the same Nick and hopefully just play better.

The series of events triggered an National Football League investigation. All of the St. Louis Rams’ offense runs through running back Todd Gurley. Keenum was somehow cleared to continue after taking a crushing blow from Timmy Jernigan late in the fourth quarter. Most recently, he has been working as a credentialed beat writer covering the National Football League, as well as college and high school sports for the St. Louis American, Patch.com, and other outlets from around the area.
