Bank of Montreal (BMO) Set to Announce Quarterly Earnings on Tuesday
The bank, based in Toronto, said it had earnings of $1.39 per share. Bank of Montreal presently has a consensus rating of “Hold” and an average price target of C$81.18.

Bank of Nova Scotia (NYSE:BNS) issued its earnings results on Tuesday. Canaccord Genuity restated a “buy” rating and issued a $77.00 price target on shares of Bank of Montreal in a research note on Friday, August 21st. The business had revenue of $4.72 billion for the quarter, compared to analysts’ expectations of $4.81 billion. CIBC reduced their price target on Bank of Nova Scotia from C$70.00 to C$66.00 and set a sector perform rating for the company in a research report on Monday, August 17th. It also announced a shareholder-friendly move to buy back up to 15 million of its common shares, subject to regulatory approval.
